As part of the Commerce Department’s Onam charity programme, the Nallapadam volunteers extended a helping hand to Ammaveedu, Thellakom, run by the Theresian Trust, on 21 August 2026.

As part of the initiative, Commerce students conducted a charity collection and contributed essential ingredients for an Onam Sadya, sharing the spirit of Onam with the residents of Ammaveedu. The programme reflected the students’ commitment to compassion, generosity, and social responsibility.

The programme was attended by the Director and Assistant Director of the Theresian Trust, Trust member Raju Kunnappally, and social worker Dr Sreejith Krishnan. Their presence added significance to the occasion and encouraged the students in their spirit of service.
