Nallapadam Muttakozhi Distribution

Muttakozhi Vitharanam by Nallapadam team

In a commendable initiative promoting sustainability and self-reliance, the Nallapadam team of SFS Public School organized the distribution of egg-laying chicks under the project titled ‘Sahajeevanam’ (Coexistence).

The chicks, hatched in the incubator installed and maintained by the student team on the school campus, were distributed to eligible families residing within the Ettumanoor Municipality. Through this meaningful project, nearly one hundred egg-laying chicks were successfully hatched and distributed to around twenty families, supporting household nutrition and small-scale income generation.

As part of the self-employment initiative, an incubator was also gifted to a deserving family, enabling them to pursue poultry farming independently.

The chicks were formally distributed by School Principal Rev. Dr. Roy P. K. and Administrator Rev. Fr. Binod Puthenpurakkal, who extended their heartfelt wishes for the success of the program. The initiative was carried out under the leadership and guidance of School Manager Rev. Dr. Manu K. V., Principal Rev. Dr. Roy P. K., and Administrator Rev. Fr. Binod Puthenpurakkal.

The Sahajeevanam project stands as a reflection of the school’s commitment to social responsibility, environmental awareness, and community empowerment.
